Sami is a pre-licensed therapist (Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern) and a Registered Play Therapist Candidate. She has been a therapist with Rising Lotus since 2024.

Passion

I am passionate about helping children and teens develop a positive sense of self. As a Highly Sensitive person, I find myself drawn to helping client who are highly sensitive, gifted, and twice exceptional. I also have a strong dedication to working with Neurodivergent children and teens, as well as adults recently diagnosed with Autism and/or ADHD. I am proud to be Neurodiversity-affirming and am constantly enriched by what I learn from my clients.

In addition, I have an affinity for working with kids and teens experiencing through grief and loss, and I create a nurturing space for healing from trauma.

I have worked successfully with children and teens who experience ADHD, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), sensory processing difficulties, disordered eating, gender dysphoria and those on the Autism Spectrum.
